  1. you should whip up a batch of fresh whipped cream then add it instead of the cool whip! it would have a more creamier taste i believe.

  2. I would love to try this! Now should I use cool whip or whipping cream in the pie? (since my crowd is not too fond of cool whip)

  5. Hi! Thank you so very much for watching and writing in. I'm so happy you liked this recipe. I can't begin to tell you how many we have made here. It's so easy to throw together and yummy.

Mmmm.. I love your idea of the homemade crust made with lemon cream sandwich cookies. That is an excellent idea! Thank you so much. I will definitely try that next time. I love lemon!

    Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs...

  6. Made this just today. Girlfriend agreed to be my guinea pig.

It's wonderful and I will be making three more for Thanksgiving (one for a friend and two for the big dinner with the grandparents).

If you want to go all out on the lemoniness of it all, and don't mind a little extra work, you can make your own crust out of lemon cream sandwich cookies instead of using the graham cracker crust.

  7. OMG... this is so United States cooking! Everything is so artificial, storebought and pre-made... yuk! Try a more natural and traditional recipe, please. You'll enjoy it.
